Statement:
I work with diverse forms of media including acrylic, spray paint, gel transfers and pages from classic novels. I am influenced by the peace and tranquility of traditional japanese art, as well as American folk art and the unique imagery created when east meets west. Also a graphic designer, I brings a graphic element to my work with the use of photo gel transfers, type, and text.My works are characterized by wide-open expanses, native trees, and regional animals.
